**Don’t use cheap fake one**
Inaccurate or wrong ethanol content can cause severe engine damage.
This is Genuine Continental GM parts, the flex fuel sensor are designed for use with aftermarket ECUs capable of reading an ethanol content sensor.
The use of a Ecumaster Flex Fuel Sensor with the ECU Master EMU allows for blending of fuel, ignition, engine start, and boost control tables.
The Flex Fuel Sensor are built around the most accurate ethanol content sensor on the market, capable of providing the ECU with an ethanol content and fuel temperature reading within a quarter of a second of start-up.
Installation to the Ecumaster EMU (Classic/BLACK)
- Install the sensor in the fuel feed or return line
- Connect three wires
- Switched +12 volts
- ECU Ground
- Output signal
- EMU CLASSIC use “cam sync 2” pin on for output singnal
- EMU BLACK use “flex fuel” pin on fot output signal
- 0% Alcohol = 50 Hz
- 100% Alcohol = 150 Hz
- 180-190 Hz = Contaminated Fuel
- 1ms = -40 C
- 5ms = 125 C
- 3 wire connector (Mate: M 12-0858K)
- 0-100% Alcohol Reading
- 3/8″ 1/0 Quick Connect Fittings
- Supply Voltage: 9-18 Volts
- Operating Temperature: -40 to 150 C
- Maximum Flow: 400l/h (80g/s)
- Frequency output based on Alcohol percentage
- Pulse width output for fluid temperature
Tech Note
- Care should be taken not to exceed the maximum flow rate of the sensor of 400 liters per hour, which may cause signal instability.
- In some applications, a bypass loop will need to be incorporated into the feed or return line to accommodate the ethanol content sensor.
